How we help
We can support you to stay safely at home or to find safe, affordable housing. We can also support you to stay in your rented home. We will work together with you to make a plan to meet your support needs. We offer tenancy education and the development of your interpersonal skills, so that you have the tools to share successfully with other people, if you need to. We will work together with you, to support you towards self-determination and independence.
Case management and tenancy support
We deliver our Case Management and Tenancy Support in a Trauma Informed Care model. This means that our Case Managers will work together with you to create a plan based on what you tell us your support needs are. We want to build a support relationship with you based on confidentiality, dignity and respect for your right to make your own decisions and to take control of your life.
We will work with you to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. We help you to learn the interpersonal skills you need to share a home with other people, in private rental, transitional accommodation or with your family and friends.
Building skills with Share It
Most people will need to share a home, at some point, like it or not. We will help you to develop the skills you need, to make your own rules for living together and to have a successful tenancy, whether you’re sharing with others, or even if you’re still at home.
Got fines?
If you have unpaid fines, we can help you with a Work Development Order that will help you repay your fines over time.
Your housing options
Our team can give you advice about what housing options are available. This could include private rental or it could be crisis, medium to long term transitional housing, public housing, boarding houses or going home to your family.
Depending on your situation, we may be able to help you with the Rent Choice Youth subsidy from Housing NSW. This is designed to help young people on a low income get started in a rented home.
We understand how tough it can be if you don’t have somewhere safe to stay, or if you’re not happy where you are, for any reason. Contact us and we’ll always do our best to find solutions for you.
Give us a call
Because everyone’s situation is different, we need to speak to you personally, one-on-one. We can also speak to any of your family, friends or other support people that you choose to speak for you.
Call us on 0488 333 671. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
